Iowa State receiver commits remain solidly in latest Rivals300

A pair of Iowa State wide receiver commits in the 2026 class are still four-star prospects in the newly released Rivals300 on Monday morning.
Akron (Ohio) Walsh Jesuit standout Milan Parris and local product Jeffrey Roberts had earned huge boosts this summer and remained firmly in the latest ratings update. Parris is considered the 189th overall prospect in the rising senior class, rising one spot in Monday’s update.
Roberts, who transferred from Ames to West Des Moines Dowling Catholic over the offseason, checks in as the 240th ranked national recruit, dropping 10 spots in today’s update.
The 6-foot-5, 200-pound pass catcher Parris shut his recruitment down early with a verbal to the Cyclones in late January. He had Power-4 offers from Cincinnati, Kentucky, Purdue and Wisconsin at the time. Maryland, Miami (Fla.) and Michigan State have offered post-commitment, but Parris remained solid to head coach Matt Campbell and staff.
As a junior in 2024, Parris caught 28 passes for 597 yards and nine touchdowns. He averaged better than 21.3 yards per reception. The wide receiver has led his Walsh Jesuit squad to a perfect 4-0 start to the 2025 season.
The in-state standout Roberts gave the coaching staff his commitment a few weeks prior to Parris’ announcement, choosing ISU over an offer from Kansas State.
He put up huge numbers as a junior, catching 38 passes for 989 yards and 12 touchdowns. He averaged 26 yards per reception. Roberts also returned a kickoff 98 yards for another score. Through three games with his new school, Dowling Catholic, he has caught 15 passes for 271 yards and three touchdowns.
Iowa State’s 2026 recruiting class currently stands at 19 commits and the coaching staff could add a few more prospects between now and the December signing period. It’s considered the 56th-ranked class nationally and 13th out of 16 teams in the Big 12.
