Iowa State Unveils 2025-26 Big 12 Schedule, Opens Jan. 2 vs. West Virginia

The Big 12 Conference released the 2025-26 men’s basketball schedule Tuesday, returning to an 18-game league format after playing 20 last season.
Iowa State will open its conference slate Jan. 2 against West Virginia at Hilton Coliseum in the only Big 12 game on the opening night of league play.
The Cyclones then hit the road for three of their next four games. They visit Baylor on Jan. 7, return home to face Oklahoma State on Jan. 10, travel to Kansas on Jan. 13 for their first trip to Allen Fieldhouse in two years and close the stretch Jan. 17 at Cincinnati.
Iowa State hosts UCF on Jan. 20 before visiting Oklahoma State on Jan. 24. The Cyclones wrap up January at home against Colorado on Jan. 29.
February begins with a Feb. 1 game at Kansas State. After a midweek bye, the Cyclones host Baylor on Feb. 7 and travel to TCU on Feb. 10. Kansas comes to Ames on Feb. 14, followed by Houston on ESPN’s Big Monday on Feb. 16.
The Cyclones will play three of their next four on the road, including a two-game swing to Utah. They face BYU on Feb. 21 before their first-ever trip to Utah on Feb. 24. Iowa State returns home Feb. 28 against Texas Tech and visits Arizona for another Big Monday on March 2.
Senior Day is set for March 7, when Iowa State hosts Arizona State to close the regular season.
The Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship is scheduled for March 10-14 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
