Iowa State’s Lipsey Out 4–6 Weeks With MCL Sprain

Iowa State point guard Tamin Lipsey will be sidelined four to six weeks with a Grade 2 sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his right knee, the school announced Tuesday.
Lipsey, a 2024 All-American and two-time All-Big 12 selection, sustained the injury during practice.
He averaged 10.6 points, 3.1 assists and 2.6 rebounds last season. The Cyclones’ all-time steals leader with 237, Lipsey has averaged 10.2 points, 4.2 assists and 3.7 rebounds over 103 career starts.
