REPORT: Matt Campbell negotiating contract to become Penn State's head coach
Per a report from Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger, Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell is in the final stages of negotations to become the next leader of the Penn State program.
Multiple sources told CycloneReport.com that Nittany Lions administration was in Ames on Thursday night to continue negotiations with the 10th-year leader of the ISU program.
Since landing in Ames following a successful run at Toledo, Campbell has won Big 12 Coach of the Year honors on three occasions and has a 72-55 all-time as a head coach. He’s 50-40 with ISU.
