Carlos Hernandez wins ACC weekly award
Carlos Hernandez won a weekly honor from the ACC for the second time this month.
Wake Forest’s junior was named the league’s receiver of the week for his five-catch, 197-yard, two-touchdown performance against Delaware this past weekend.
Hernandez had touchdown catches of 93 and 79 yards against the Blue Hens, helping the Deacons to a 52-14 win. The former is the longest reception in program history.
Hernandez was named the league’s specialist of the week after his 88-yard punt return against Virginia on Nov. 8 was that game’s only touchdown.
