Wake Forest-Duke game moved up to noon
Wake Forest and Duke will tip off Saturday’s game at Cameron Indoor Stadium several hours earlier than originally scheduled.
The Deacons and Blue Devils’ men’s basketball game will start at 12 p.m. It was initially scheduled for 5:45 p.m.
The change comes because of a winter storm bearing down on the region. Forecasts project snow and ice hitting the Durham area on Saturday night with accumulation up to 1 inch. Gov. Josh Stein declared a State of Emergency on Wednesday afternoon.
The game will still be broadcast on The CW.
It’s not the only ACC game with a schedule adjustment. North Carolina’s game at Virginia was moved up two hours, to noon, and Virginia Tech’s game at Louisville will now start at 2:15 p.m. (was set for 3:45).
