Quentin Coleman commits to Wake Forest

Quentin Coleman announced his commitment to Wake Forest on Tuesday afternoon.
“I’ll be going to Wake Forest, baby,” Coleman said on a live broadcast from his school.
“Just the relationship with (Steve) Forbes and the players,” he continued. “I feel like that was home.”
Coleman, a 6-3 guard from St. Louis, is the third top-100 player to commit to the Deacons in the Class of 2026. He’s the No. 78 player in the Class of 2026, per Rivals.
Coleman had a final four of Wake Forest, Texas Tech, Iowa and St. Louis. He took his official visit to Wake Forest back in late August.
Wake Forest’s three-player class came together rather quickly. Twin forwards Gallagher and Gavin Placide committed to the Deacons on Sept. 18. Gavin Placide is 6-11 and ranked 34th in the Class of 2026; Gallagher Placide is 6-9 and ranked 67th.
Three Deacons are guaranteed departures from this season’s roster because their eligibility is expiring — guards Nate Calmese and Mekhi Mason, and forward Tre’Von Spillers.
Barring other roster attrition, guards on Wake’s roster next season will be Sebastian Akins, Jaylen Cross, Isaac Carr and Coleman.
