Wake Forest will hold an open practice for its men’s basketball team next Saturday.

The Deacons will be at Joel Coliseum on Sept. 27, with doors opening at 9:30 a.m. Practice is set to start at 10 and finish by 11:30, with Wake’s home football game against Georgia Tech set for noon that day.

Fans are encouraged to come through the West Gate Lobby entrance. Concessions will not be open for the event.

Wake Forest is entering its sixth season under coach Steve Forbes. The Deacons return starter Tre’Von Spillers and key players Juke Harris and Omaha Biliew, along with Marqus Marion. Five transfers were added to the mix in the spring — point guard Nate Calmese, guard/wings Mekhi Mason and Myles Colvin, guard Sebastian Akins and center Cooper Schwieger.

Wake Forest brought in a three-man freshman class — guards Isaac Carr and Jaylen Cross, and forward Dimitrije Kovacevic, a late addition over the summer.
