Duke’s ACC schedule released
Duke’s full men’s basketball schedule is released, made complete with the ACC’s schedule release on Wednesday afternoon.
The Blue Devils’ dates against UNC will be Feb. 13 (at home) and March 6 (in Chapel Hill). Duke will also play Virginia twice, going to Charlottesville on Feb. 6 and playing the Cavaliers again March 1.
This means less in the transfer portal/freedom of movement era, but: Duke’s first eight ACC games are against teams that didn’t make the NCAA tournament last season. Of the final 10 ACC games, nine are against teams in the NCAA tournament last year. The exception is a Feb. 16 home game against Florida State, which was one of the hottest teams in the league to end last season.
Duke is 42-2 against ACC teams in the past two seasons. The Blue Devils swept the ACC tournament each of the last seasons, both in Charlotte. Their only losses have been in buildings they’ll play in this season — at UNC and at Clemson (Jan. 30).
