Creighton sophomore forward Jackson McAndrew will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 season due to a foot injury, head coach Greg McDermott announced on Friday.

“I feel so bad for Jackson, who had a terrific summer preparing for his sophomore season,” McDermott said. “We’ll support him throughout the rehab process and look forward to his healthy return in 2026-27.”

Last year, McAndrew set a Creighton freshman record with 69 triples, and he was widely seen as a breakout candidate this season. McAndrew, the Third Team Preseason All-BIG EAST selection, was averaging 6.8 points and 4.5 rebounds while starting every game for the Blue Jays this year.

It’s a big loss for the Creighton frontcourt.
