Kentucky point guard Jaland Lowe out vs. Michigan State

Kentucky point guard Jaland Lowe will not play tonight in the Champions Classic against No. 17 Michigan State, per Matt Norlander.
The report states Lowe is “out indefinitely” with his re-aggravated shoulder injury and his short-term status still remains “foggy.”
Lowe first hurt his shoulder in Kentucky’s Blue-White scrimmage on Oct. 17, which caused him to miss both exhibitions and the season opener against Nicholls State. He played 30 minutes in last Tuesday’s 96-88 loss to Louisville and finished with nine points and five assists. It was Lowe’s second appearance of the season.
The point guard then re-aggravated the shoulder injury last week in practice.
Pope did not have a concrete update after Friday’s win vs. Eastern Illinois.
“We don’t have anything yet, so we’ll probably have some discussions over the next couple of days about what’s the best thing to do right now,” Pope said. “That’s probably the point where we are right now. I think we’ve got a bevy of second and third opinions, and so right now it’s going to be more just like the whole group, the whole medical team, and mom and dad and J. Lowe and me sitting down and having a real conversation about what’s the best thing to do moving forward.”
