Former Army LB Jimmy Ciarlo’s Buffalo Bills Journey
When you think about the journey from college football to earning a spot on an NFL roster, it’s hard to fully grasp the challenges without having lived it yourself. From the physical demands to the mental grind, it’s a true test at every level.
Thanks to HBO’s Hard Knocks, fans got an inside look at former Army linebacker Jimmy Ciarlo and his pursuit of making the Buffalo Bills’ final roster—decisions that were finalized league-wide yesterday (8/27).
Ciarlo was released from the active roster but quickly re-signed to the Bills’ practice squad. So while the initial goal may not have been reached, his journey is far from over. In fact, it may only just be beginning.
