In Army’s double overtime loss to Tarleton State two weeks ago, their offensive stats were respectable to say the least.

On the ground they had 280 yards rushing (4.2) with 3 rushing TDs.  Add to that, they had 131 passing yards (zero TDs).  The Total Offense netted 411 yards, and you would have to add to the fact they had 2 fumbles, one of which they lost.

In their big time win last Saturday on the road against Kansas State, the Army offense had 237 yards rushing (3.4), 2 rushing TDs and 95 passing yards (1 TD) they resulted in 332 total offensive 332 yards.

Despite the more elevated stats in game one versus game two, Army was clearly more effective and efficient and it showed through the contest this past Saturday versus Kansas State.

GBK’s Joe Iacono had an opportunity to chat with Offensive Coordinator Cody Worley following Tuesday’s practice session, as the Black Knights are looking to pick up where they left off despite the team having a bye week.
