Arkansas basketball adds non-conference game against ASUN opponent

The Arkansas basketball team has another non-conference game locked down and will host Queens University (Charlotte, N.C.) during the 2025-26 season.
A report from Jon Rothstein said the game will be played on Dec. 16, which was originally planned to be the date the Hogs would take on Mount St. Mary’s. That game will not happen, according to multiple reports. Queens’ head coach Grant Leonard then reposted Rothstein’s tweet, seemingly confirming the matchup.
Queens went 20-15 last season and 11-7 in the Atlantic Sun Conference. The Royals’ final game was a loss to Cleveland State in the second round of the CBI.
Also interesting to note about the Royals is that this is their first season in which they will have NCAA Tournament eligibility. They went through a three-year reclassification process, jumping from the Division II to Division I ranks, and are now eligible for the Big Dance.
