Arkansas basketball rises again in latest AP Top 25
The Arkansas basketball team saw their rank jump yet again in the AP College Basketball Top 25 on Monday.
The Hogs were previously at No. 17 after wins over Louisville and Fresno State, and came in at No. 14 after their big win over Texas Tech last weekend. This is the latest in the season Arkansas has retained its rank in the AP Top 25 since the 2022 season, when they were ranked ninth 10 games into the season.
Arkansas has two more opportunities this week and will host Queens (N.C.) at Bud Walton Arena on Tuesday. After that, the Razorbacks will hit the road and play another neutral site game on Saturday, this time against the No. 8 Houston Cougars at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
The Hogs are the second-highest ranked team in the SEC, behind Vanderbilt at 13. Arkansas will play the Commodores this season, as well as Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn and Florida, which are ranked behind them.
