Arkansas football reportedly retaining assistant coach from previous staff
The Arkansas football team is expected to retain Morgan Turner as tight ends coach, according to a report from Brandon Marcello Saturday.
Turner just completed his third season with the Hogs and is the lone assistant coach new Razorback head coach Ryan Silverfield is retaining.
2025 was the most productive season for tight ends under Turner’s direction. Senior Montana State transfer Rohan Jones finished third on the team in receiving yards (519) and second in receiving touchdowns (4) on 19 receptions for an impressive average of 27.3 yards per catch, which ranked second nationally.
Turner came to Fayetteville from Stanford highly regarded having mentored future NFL players such as Zach Ertz, Austin Hooper, Dalton Schultz and more.
