Arkansas football’s 2026 schedule released

by: Daniel Fair12/12/25hawgbeat

We already knew the opponents Arkansas football will play for the next four seasons, but now the dates have been released.

Arkansas’ 2026 schedule — which was released during a live show on the SEC Network — will be the first for new head coach Ryan Silverfield, who came to Arkansas after 10 years at Memphis, six of those as the head coach.

New in 2026, the SEC is implementing a nine-game conference schedule. Arkansas’ three non-conference opponents are at home against North Alabama in Week 1 on Sept. 5, on the road against Utah on Sept. 12 and then home against Tulsa on Sept. 26. The Hogs have a bye week on Oct. 24.

The conference opponents Arkansas will play at home are Georgia, LSU, Missouri, South Carolina and Tennessee. They’ll hit the road to play Auburn, Texas, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.

LSU, Missouri and Texas are the Razorbacks’ three annual opponents, at least for the next four seasons. The most noteworthy news out of those three matchups is the LSU game will return to Thanksgiving weekend for the first time since 2013.
