Arkansas returning to Hot Springs for Tip-Off Scrimmage
Arkansas basketball season is right around the corner, and like it did last season, the team will return to Hot Springs for the Razorbacks’ Tip-Off Scrimmage.
The team will take the floor at Bank OZK Arena at Hot Springs on Oct. 12 at 3 p.m. The event will include a meet-and-greet with the team, player introductions and a Red-White team scrimmage.
“Last year was a tremendous success for all involved,” head coach John Calipari said in a news release. “We are excited to return and grateful to those in Hot Springs for making this possible. This is a great chance for people in that region to interact with this year’s team.
“The returning players had a great experience last year, and we have a lot of new players on this team who will do the same this time. The trip will also be important to those new guys, so they too get to know a different part of Arkansas and to know the passion for the Razorbacks throughout the state, not just Northwest Arkansas.”
General admission tickets are $20 per seat and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. The meet-and-greet level is $100 per seat with a limit of up to 300 fans. Each ticket will allow access to the players for a group photo and a Coach Calipari autographed photo. Fans at this level will be allowed in the facilities early, according to a news release from the school.
Eight “Premium” level seats are available for $1,000. Those who purchase these tickets will will be able to sit on the Razorback bench with players and coaches during the event, have a picture taken with team members, get player autographs and meet with Coach Calipari to get a photo and autograph before the event.
Due to NCAA regulations, students in grades 7-12 will not be able to participate in this option.
Doors at the event will open at:
- 1 p.m. for Premium and meet-and-greet tickets
- 1:45 p.m. for general admission
Tickets go on sale for the Tip-Off Scrimmage on Monday, Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. through the Bank OZK Arena website and Ticketmaster website. Fans can call (501) 321-2277 for assistance in purchasing their tickets online.
