Report: Clint Trickett expected to be hired as Arkansas quarterbacks coach
It has been a heavy news day on the Arkansas Razorbacks coaching front as reports have come out that tight ends coach Morgan Turner will be retained, NFL veteran Marion Hobby is expected to be hired as defensive line coach, and also Clint Trickett is expected to be hired as quarterbacks coach, according to Matt Zenitz.
Trickett has been at Jacksonville State where he coordinated the Conference USA’s top offense in 2025 that averaged 419.2 yards per game.
He got his start at East Mississippi Community College in Scooba where he was featured on the Netflix hit series Last Chance U in 2015 and 2016. Trickett also worked at Florida Atlantic from 2017-2020, Marshall from 2021-2023 and then Georgia Southern in 2024.
The son of a respected coach Rick Trickett, Clint Trickett played his college ball at both Florida State and West Virginia before beginning his coaching career.
