Social media reacts to Arkansas' loss to Auburn

FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas Razorbacks (2-6, 0-4 SEC) saw their losing streak extend to six-straight games, with the latest loss coming at the hands of the Auburn Tigers (4-4, 1-4 SEC) at Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Saturday, 33-24.
For the first time in a long time, it wasn’t the fault of the Razorback defense, which snagged its first defensive touchdown since the 2023 season in the second quarter thanks to a pick-six by Kani Walker. The Hogs led 21-10 at the half, but were outscored 23-3 in the second half.
Turnovers haunted the Hogs, who committed four for the game, all in the fourth quarter. Quarterback Taylen Green threw three interceptions to Auburn cornerback Rayshawn Pleasant, one of which was returned for a touchdown.
On the ensuing drive after that interception return, O’Mega Blake fumbled the ball, which set up an Auburn field goal. Green’s final interception came with roughly a minute remaining in the game.
All things considered, the Razorback defense performed well. It gave up points, but most of those came off the leg of Auburn kicker Alex McPherson, who converted on all six of his attempts, the final one putting the Tigers up 33-24 and effectively icing the game.
As always, those on social media made their feelings known and HawgBeat compiled some of those reactions throughout the game.
