Report day for year 21 of the Mike Gundy era at Oklahoma State is upon us.

Cowboy players are reporting this afternoon and will begin fall camp with a practice on Monday.

According to our sources inside the West End Zone, report day is expected to go off with zero surprises. Players have already been on campus and in off-season workouts and player-run drills for a month now, so it’s more a formality than anything.

This certainly sets up as one of the most interesting and intriguing of the Gundy era. The drama that occurred in early December that ultimately resulted in Gundy retaining his job, but giving up some serious concessions in his contract and hiring a nearly entirely new staff. At Big 12 Media Days two weeks ago, Gundy admitted this fall camp will feature the staff getting to see a bunch of new faces in action on the practice field for the first time.

“For me, it was extremely busy — new staff, new coordinators,” Gundy said. “Those guys bring in their own staff. We have 65 new players, 35 of them we’ve never seen practice before. They just showed up in June. Eighteen of those are transfers, and the rest are high school players.”

Tomorrow, we will dig into some of the top storylines for Oklahoma State Fall Camp 2025. For now, here are a few key dates to keep in mind.

July 28 – Fall Camp opens with first practice

July 31 – First day of full pads

August 1-3 – Extreme Camp (always brings good intel to The Corral)

August 17 – Close of Fall Camp, likely with a full scrimmage on Saturday the 16th or Sunday the 17th

August 18 – Classes begin for the fall semester at OSU

August 20-24 – Mike Gundy’s opening weekly media luncheon. While in-season media luncheons are on Monday’s, Gundy has typically opted to do the first one the Thursday or Friday a week ahead of the opener. That’s especially likely given the Thursday opener this season. We will guess it’s on Thursday, August 21, but could be anywhere in that date range.

August 28 – Season and home opener against UT-Martin. 6:30 p.m. kick, ESPN+ television
