Lutz adds Israeli pro guard

The two remaining unfilled spots on Steve Lutz’s 2025-26 roster has now been cut to one, following the signing of Israeli professional league point guard Daniel Guetta.
The news was first reported by Draft Express’ Jon Chepkevich and confirmed to OSI by Guetta’s agent Yuval Shaham.
Due to a military exception, Guetta will have four years of eligibility at Oklahoma State. He brings four years of professional experience in the Israeli professional league. He averaged 9.6 points, 4.7 assists and 2.9 rebounds-per-game this season for the Maccabi Rehovot.
The 6-2 point guard will be on campus in Stillwater this fall, if not sooner, per Shaham. Born in 2003, Guetta will be 22 years old when he first competes for the Cowboys.
Lutz will look to fill the final spot for the 2025-26 season, perhaps in an unconventional manner such as the Guetta addition.
