The massive uptick in wrestling recruiting at Oklahoma State under David Taylor appears to be continuing with the 2027 class.

Israel Borge, a 138-pounder from Westlake, Utah dropped his top schools list on Tuesday via MatScouts on X. Oklahoma State made the cut, along with Arizona State, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska and Penn State.

Borge ranks as high as No. 5 in the nation (MatScouts). He is No. 11 overall in FloWrestling’s latest 2027 big board. There has been discussion on the possibility of Borge moving to Stillwater for his high school junior season and to train at the Cowboy RTC. No decisions have been made on that front, to our understanding.

As a refresher, in the 2026 class Taylor has pledges from No. 2 (Jax Forrest, 132 lbs.), No. 4 (Dreshaun Ross, 215 lbs.), No. 5 (Jordyn Raney, 138 lbs), No. 6 (Jayden Raney, 132 lbs.), No. 36 (Kellen Woolbert, 144 lbs) and No. 100 (Rocklin Zinkin, 120 lbs)on Flo’s 2026 Big Board ranking. He also has the Cowboys back in the Bo Basset 92026 No. 1 overall per Flo) sweepstakes after Basset de-committed from Iowa last month.
