Redshirt freshman offensive lineman Nuku Mafi met with the media for the first time.
Mafi talks about how camp has gone so far, new offensive coordinator Doug Meacham’s offense and the technique being taught by Andrew Mitchell.
He also talked about the adjustment that his freshman year was. In particular not starting or playing for the first time in his football career.
Asked about the Polynesian culture Mike Gundy has cultivated over the years and specifically mentions former Cowboy and current Pittsburgh Steeler Jaylen Warren, who he’s known since he was a “little kid.”
Lastly, Mafi talked about the OL coaching trio of Mitchell, Cooper Bassett and Grant Garner, stressing the technique they have been teaching and how it has helped him develop this season.
