But, for now, that isn’t important. What’s important right now is that OU handles business against CFB Playoff 22nd ranked team Missouri Tigers this coming weekend. The same Missouri Tigers that have become quite the thorn in the Brent Venables‘ and Sooners’ side on the recruiting trail, NIL and even on the field, where Mizzou beat the Sooners in the final minute of their 2024 matchup 30-23, in Columbia (MO). Afterward, the head coach of Missouri, Eli Drinkwitz, took a shot at the Sooners and legendary former head coach Bob Stoops, saying, “This will be really disappointing to Bob Stoops, but OU doesn’t always just whip Missouri’s ass right now.”
