OU men's basketball: non-conference schedule released

Oklahoma basketball has officially released its full 2025-26 schedule, with both the non-conference and SEC slates now set.
The Sooners will open play on October 24 with an exhibition matchup in Milwaukee against Wisconsin. Their first regular-season game comes at home on November 3 against Saint Francis, a tune-up before a tough early road test against Gonzaga in Spokane on November 8.
From there, Oklahoma returns home to face Arkansas-Pine Bluff on November 11, then heads to Sioux Falls for a neutral-site contest against Nebraska on November 15. The Sooners follow with back-to-back home games against Oral Roberts (Nov. 20) and Alcorn State (Nov. 23).
The schedule toughens after Thanksgiving. Oklahoma will take on Marquette in Chicago on November 28, travel to Wake Forest for the SEC/ACC Challenge on December 2, and then head west to meet Arizona State in Phoenix on December 6. The Sooners will stay in Oklahoma for their rivalry matchup with Oklahoma State on December 13, but even that game will be away from campus, taking place at a neutral site in Oklahoma City.
The non-conference slate concludes with three straight home games: Kansas City (Dec. 16), Stetson (Dec. 22), and Mississippi Valley State (Dec. 29).
In all, Oklahoma will face five high-major opponents in non-conference play: Nebraska, Marquette, Wake Forest, Arizona State, and Oklahoma State — along with Gonzaga. However, none of those games will be true home contests. The home non-conference schedule is very light, featuring only Saint Francis, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Oral Roberts, Alcorn State, Kansas City, Stetson, and Mississippi Valley State.
The SEC slate opens on January 3 with Ole Miss visiting Norman. From there, Oklahoma will embark on a stretch of 18 conference games that includes marquee matchups against Kentucky at Rupp Arena (Feb. 3), Alabama (Jan. 17), and Tennessee (Feb. 17 or 18). The Sooners will close the regular season the same way they did in 2024-25 — with Missouri at home (March 3 or 4) and Texas on the road (March 7).
