How does college football at Owen Field in mid-December sound, ladies and gents? Because it’s now official: Oklahoma is on a collision course with CFP host status. The Sooners will likely be ranked no lower than No. 8 in Tuesday’s rankings. Provided they hold serve against Missouri and LSU at home over the final two weeks of the season, there will be a College Football Playoff game in Norman next month. How quickly things change in the span of three weeks, eh?
