Notes

— Despite clearly dealing with an injury, Xavier Robinson played all but one snap for the Sooners. He logged 16 touches for 58 yards.

Tory Blaylock played three snaps. Jaydn Ott logged one snap, his first time on the field since garbage time against South Carolina. Outside of Blaylock, who has also been injured all season, the Sooners just don’t have other options than to play Robinson when he’s not healthy.

— Keontez Lewis played 21 snaps, a welcomed sign after he missed several games with an injury. Jacob Jordan, who has been absent from the rotation all season, even played a couple of snaps.

— Ryan Fodje got the start at right tackle but was quickly pulled for Derek Simmons, who essentially played every snap after the first quarter. It’ll be interesting to see if Simmons has reclaimed that spot ahead of the LSU game.

— Jayden Jackson played just 14 snaps, indicating he’s still working his way back from an injury that nearly kept him out of the Alabama game.

— Taylor Wein logged over 60 snaps for the third consecutive game, as the Sooners continue to lean on him with R Mason Thomas’ absence.
