Notes
— Xavier Robinson dominated the backfield snaps against Tennessee. But this game saw Robinson and Tory Blaylock be closer to a 60-40 split in snaps.
— Isaiah Sategna, Deion Burks and Javonnie Gibson still dominated the wide receiver snaps, though Jer’Michael Carter again saw a bigger role for the second consecutive game.
Keontez Lewis logged one snap after a three-game absence. Also, Jacob Jordan made his first appearance in an SEC game this season.
— Four of the starting five offensive linemen played every snap. The only one that didn’t was Ryan Fodje.
Derek Simmons played a handful of snaps in his first action since South Carolina.
— With Jayden Jackson limited due to injury, the Sooners leaned more on David Stone and Gracen Halton. Markus Strong played nine snaps, near his typical average.
— Without R Mason Thomas, the Sooners put the workload on Taylor Wein, who played 61 snaps. He’s now played 128 snaps over the last two weeks while establishing himself as one of the most important players for the Sooners.
— Kobie McKinzie played 30 snaps in his return from a groin injury.
