Sooners ranked 13th in AP Poll following Michigan win

Oklahoma is on the way up.
The Sooners finished 13th in the latest AP Top-25 Poll, which was released Sunday. The Sooners moved up five spots from last week’s poll.
The rise comes after OU beat then-No. 15 Michigan, 24-13, on Saturday night. Michigan dropped eight spots to No. 23.
The Sooners are joined in the AP Poll by 11 SEC teams, including No. 3 LSU, No. 6 Georgia, No. 7 Texas, No. 11 South Carolina, No. 15 Tennessee, No. 16 Texas A&M, No. 17 Ole Miss No. 19 Alabama, No. 24 Auburn and No. 25 Missouri. The Sooners will play eight of those teams.
Following the win over Michigan, the Sooners are in a prime position to continue surging. They travel to Temple this weekend (11 a.m. CT, Saturday, ESPN+) before hosting No. 24 Auburn the following week. The Auburn matchup will include a reunion matchup with former OU quarterback Jackson Arnold.
