Stream of Consciousness Hudl Watching: Chase Campbell

For his size, he plays with a surprisingly low center of gravity, just glides but stays grounded, hard to square up, elusive without doing too much. His takeoff is clean, no extra motion, just straight into the route with purpose.
You can tell the DBs only have one real shot, they have to get hands on him early, disrupt the timing. He’s not letting that happen. Keeps himself clean, smooth off the line. And then the stems are clean. Keeps defenders guessing, never tips where he’s going.
Ball tracking is elite. Doesn’t slow down, doesn’t break stride, just finds it and adjusts like it’s nothing. That kind of coordination’s not easy.
And man, he effortlessly explodes out of his cuts. Quick, efficient, sharp. He creates separation not just with speed but with precision.
Didn’t really see a lot of contested catches in this highlight set, but I know he’s a good basketball player. That always shows up eventually, timing, body control, positioning. I’d bet when the opportunity comes, he’ll use all of that to go up and get it.
