Tascosa DT Krush Johnson locked in with Texas Tech

Texas Tech has made plenty of noise on the recruiting trail in recent months, with many of their recent commitments being rated as 4-star and 5-star prospects. Going back to the start of the 2026 cycle though, Tech picked up a local addition in Amarillo (TX) Tascosa defensive lineman Krush Johnson. According to Rivals, Johnson is the No. 56 defensive lineman in his class and the No. 83 player in the state of Texas for 2026. Since his commitment in January, Johnson has remained solid and thinks just as strongly of his pledge now as he did back then.
