2028 Trophy Club (TX) Byron Nelson safety Nolan Hawkins is set to begin his sophomore season this week. The 6-foot, 190 pound prospect and his teammates will take on Wolfforth (TX) Frenship, which sits less than 10 miles from Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock. While Hawkins will compete against the team from the 806 this week, it wouldn't be a surprise to look up in a few years and see him representing the 806 as a Red Raider. Hawkins, the son of former Texas Tech running back and linebacker Jonathan Hawkins, already holds six (6) offers to his name with more sure to come. For now though, he's enjoying the recruiting process as it unfolds.
