TTU connection helps pave way for RB Issac Farling's first offer

Texas Tech is getting an early start on identifying future offensive playmakers, extending the first scholarship offer to 2028 running back Issac Farling. The talented underclassman stars at Mount Dora Christian Academy in Florida, the former high school of current Red Raider wide receiver Reggie Virgil, and has already started to make a name for himself. Through six (6) games as a sophomore in 2025, Farling has rushed for 658 yards and 11 touchdowns, while adding 203 passing yards and 4 more passing scores through the air. On defense, Farling has recorded 10 tackles, 4 TFL's, 3 sacks and a fumble recovery. Farling’s first offer coming from Texas Tech signals that the Red Raiders see big potential in the young back - and it could be the continuation of a strong connection between Lubbock and Mount Dora, which sits just outside of the Orlando area. "I was excited, I was truly grateful."
