Visitor Reactions to Texas Tech's 62-14 win over Kent State

For the second week in a row, Texas Tech got off to a massive halftime lead and cruised to a 62-14 win over Kent State.
The coaches hosted a smaller group of recruits for the 11 a.m. kickoff, which included a handful of Red Raider commits as well.
We caught up with several of the prospects for their reaction to their day in Lubbock.
2027 Wolfforth (TX) Frenship outside linebacker Cannon Richardson: “My time at Tech was awesome. Some highlights were getting to go watch warmups and walking through and seeing the facilities!”
2027 Lubbock (TX) Monterey cornerback Terance King: “It was amazing, the coaches were very welcoming and the atmosphere was crazy. I have to say the best part was the halftime show, the fireworks, being able to watch the team warm up on the sideline. Just the experience as a whole was great!”
2028 Lubbock (TX) Cooper Liberty tight end Koleman Hendrix: “The visit at Tech was amazing! Anytime you get in that facility it’s a surreal feeling. The people are always so nice and welcoming to me and my family. I loved getting to talk to Coach Cochran and I appreciate the time he took with me. I know a lot of these guys and getting to see them do their thing was amazing. I’m glad I was a part of it and can’t wait to be back and watch them get another W!”
2027 Amarillo (TX) Palo Duro wide receiver Kyron Brown: “Well for starters, the game, the players seemed very poised and had great execution and energy throughout the entire game! The atmosphere was amazing, pretty unreal, fireworks, explosions, that amazing band, it was all just an amazing experience!”
2027 Lubbock (TX) Frenship wide receiver Isaiah Gilliam: “It was wonderful! The staff were super kind and very helpful! Every corner I turned, I was constantly being told “let me know if I can help you!” And one of the most helpful people was Brent. Those were definitely part of my highlight list as well as getting to be there with my family to get the game day experience and be there with some teammates and other friends I’ve made in the sport.”
2027 Round Rock (TX) offensive tackle Mark Moreno: “The hospitality and facilities were amazing, and getting to walk the field before the game was crazy. Even got to meet Coach Clay McGuire at breakfast which was awesome. The whole visit definitely beat my expectations.”
2027 Odessa (TX) tight end Kobi Baldonado: “I loved the energy and the fan base!”
