Memphis and Baylor agree to a four-year home-and-home series

University of Memphis Men’s Basketball have announced that they have agreed on a four year home-and-home series with the Baylor Bears.
The first game of the series will be on Dec. 6, 2025 at FedExForum in Memphis and will be broadcast nationally on CBS and streaming live on Paramount+. Tip is set for 3:30 p.m.
This will mark the the ninth all-time meeting between Memphis and Baylor. The last time Baylor visited Memphis was Dec. 11, 1976. Memphis won that contest 80-73.
The last time these schools met was back in Nov. 27, 2014, at the Las Vegas Invitational. Baylor won that match-up 71-47.
Neither team are return a starter so both teams will look a little different from last years squad.
The second game of the series is scheduled for Dec. 5, 2026, at Waco, Texas. The third game will be played at Baylor again in the 2027-28 season. Memphis will host the final game in the series in the 2028-29 season.
The Commercial Appeal reported that Memphis will receive 100% of the media rights fee for this season’s Baylor game that will be on CBS. This is part of AAC commissioner Tim Pernetti’s performance-based revenue distribution philosophy.
