Memphis has announced the signing of 6-foot-11 center Thierno Sylla. Sylla joins the Tigers for the 2025-26 season.

Sylla averaged 3.1 points and 2.6 rebounds for Stephen F. Austin last season where he appeared in 25 games.

Before Stephen F. Austin, Sylla played two seasons at UCF. He started 10 games for the Knights in the 2023-2024 season. He averaged 4.3 PPG and 3.9 REB in 15 minutes per game that season for UCF.

Memphis head coach Penny Hardaway isn’t done adding to this roster either. Expect another signing soon.
