NC State LHP Jacob Dienes transferring to Memphis
Memphis Baseball picked up a commitment today when NC State transfer Jacob Dienes posted his decision on social media.
Dienes, 6-foot-2 204 lbs., is a graduate transfer with one year of eligibility left. The left-hand pitcher has four pitches in his arsenal. He throws a 91-94 MPH Fastball. A Cutter that’s 84-86 MPH. His Sweeper is 79-81 MPH, and his Splitter goes 81-84 MPH.
In High School Dienes was the 2021 Wilson Times Male Student-Athlete of the Year.
