South Sudanese Center Simon Majok signs with Memphis

The University of Men’s Basketball announced the signing of 7-foot-1 South Sudanese center Simon Majok for the 2025-2026 basketball season.
Majok spent the last three seasons in the Serbian professional system with KK Real Beograd. He averaged 17.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.6 blocks, 1.9 assists, and 1.3 steals over 30.7 minutes per game in seven games last season.
In a game against BKK Radnicki, Majok scored 27 points, had 12 rebounds and six blocks, and his shooting was 13-of-17 from the floor.
Majok also played for Real Beograd’s U17 and U19 teams. Both teams had third-place finishes in 2022-23 and 2023-24. Majok earned MVP honors in both seasons.
Memphis head coach Penny Hardaway has signed 13 players in the 2025 recruiting class.
