Between the Bets: Three wagers for the SEC Championship

by: Jason Butt12/05/25JasonHButt

Here are three wagers to consider for Georgia’s game against Alabama in the SEC Championship.

Georgia running back Nate Frazier O65.5 rushing yards -115

Frazier has been on fire lately and has cleared this line in four of his last six games. With the Crimson Tide susceptible to the run and now without defensive lineman LT Overton, the matchup is there for a big rushing day for the Bulldogs. Remember, in the first meeting Georgia totaled 227 rushing yards in only 24:24 of game time.

Georgia receiver Noah Thomas O16.5 long reception -137

Thomas has had a long reception of 17 yards or more in four of Georgia’s past five games. The only time this didn’t happen was last week against Georgia Tech, when the entire passing game struggled. However, Thomas has emerged as Georgia’s vertical threat and should be targeted a good bit on Saturday. This line is likely down to 16.5 because of the Georgia Tech game, meaning there’s some good value to be had here.

Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson O30.5 pass attempts -115

Alabama has not been able to run the ball consistently and running back Jam Miller is banged up. This game is going to be in Simpson’s hands from start to finish. Simpson has also cleared this line in seven of eight SEC games, which included throwing the ball 38 times against Georgia the first time around.

Last week

Frazier cleared his over in the first half but Branch and Rutherford both fell short. It’s been a quite the second half of the season on this front.
