One of the top remaining targets on Georgia’s board for 2026 is now in the class. Blake Stewart, the three-star safety from Woodward Academy, announced his commitment to the Bulldogs following back-to-back visits to Athens.

The Fairburn, Ga., native was on site at Sanford Stadium as the Bulldogs dispatched the Texas Longhorns 35-10 for an unofficial visit. Then he made the trip back to Athens on Saturday as Georgia beat Charlotte in its final regular-season home game for an official visit.

Stewart becomes the 31st player to join Georgia’s No. 2-ranked recruiting class, and the eighth defensive back prospect in the class. At 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds, the Woodward Academy product joins Kealan Jones, Tyriq Green, Zech Fort, and Jordan Smith as the five safety prospects in the class.

Stewart previously committed to Clemson back in July. However, he reopened his recruitment at the end of October with his decommitment, which is where Georgia started to gain momentum.
