Bulldogs Mock Draft Tracker
Although the 2026 NFL Draft isn’t until late April, it’s certainly not too early to be speculating on which Georgia players will go where. Presented is the initial version of this year’s Bulldogs Mock Draft Tracker.
Notably, after Georgia averaged 11.5 players drafted annually over the last four years (2022-2025 NFL drafts), it appears this year’s total for the Bulldogs will slip a bit, likely falling below double-digit draftees for only the second time in the last five drafts.
Our five mock drafts projected “only” eight different Bulldog players to get drafted (compared to 15 players in the initial tracker from a year ago), including just two who were unanimously forecasted by the five mocks (mocks’ average overall selection, round): linebacker CJ Allen (31.4, late 1st round) and offensive lineman Monroe Freeling (36.0, early 2nd round).
UGASports used the same five recognized/reputable sites as previous years, each featuring a mock draft: Drafttek and the NFL Mock Draft Database (MDDB), each of which projects all seven rounds; Tankathon (Tank.), which forecasts four rounds; A to Z Sports (A to Z), which projects three; and Walter of Walter Football (Walter), who currently has forecasted the first two rounds.
(Each player is followed by a projected round and his overall forecasted pick, along with the selecting NFL team listed just below, according to each mock draft):

Each of the five mock drafts forecasted at least one Georgia player to be selected in the opening round, with a total of three first-round possibilities. Featured in all but Walter Football’s two-round projection, defensive lineman Christen Miller averaged a 33.0 selection, or the first pick of the second round, while Drafttek forecasted him as a first-rounder.
Entering this draft, Georgia has had a first-round pick for eight consecutive years (2018-2025, averaging 2.5 first-rounders per year), which trails only Alabama (17 consecutive years) and Ohio State (10) for the top active streak among schools. Michigan is fourth with seven consecutive years with an opening-round pick. In that eight-year span, or since only one Bulldog player was taken in Kirby Smart’s initial NFL Draft (fifth-rounder Isaiah McKenzie in 2017), Georgia averaged 9.4 draftees, including 5.1 selected in the first three rounds, per draft.
Like Miller, receiver Zachariah Branch appeared in four of our five mocks, averaging a 61.5 selection, or a late second-round pick. During the Smart era, Georgia has had only three wide receivers drafted higher than the fourth round, all second-rounders (Mecole Hardman, George Pickens, Ladd McConkey). At the position, Colbie Young and Noah Thomas were each forecasted by one of the two seven-round mocks. In its draft history, Georgia has seldom had two wide receivers selected in a single year, and just once have three Bulldog receivers been drafted (2019: Hardman, Riley Ridley, Terry Godwin).
Notably, although not forecasted by any of our five mock drafts, punter Brett Thorson and snapper Beau Gardner were both amongst the NFL Mock Draft Database’s top seven players available following the completion of its seven-round mock draft.
Finally, we looked back at the former Georgia players in the table for their Rivals rankings coming out of high school—and we discovered a trend. Of the six players projected to be selected by at least two mocks, all of them were four-star or higher recruits ranked better than 125th overall (Miller was the lowest at No. 122), including five-stars Freeling (No. 32 overall) and Branch (No. 4 overall to USC). Daylen Everette was nearly a five-star recruit as the No. 33 overall prospect in the 2022 class. Signing with Texas A&M in 2022, receiver Noah Thomas was also a four-star prospect.
With the NFL Draft opening approximately three months from now, a lot can change from now until then. Be on the lookout for version 2.0 of the Bulldogs Mock Draft Tracker within the next few weeks.
