Daniel Harris planning to enter transfer portal
Daniel Harris appears to have played his last snap at Georgia.
The junior corner is planning to enter the transfer portal once it opens in January, according to a report from On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Harris started the first three games of the 2023 season at corner for the Georgia defense. He then played in each of the next three before not playing in Georgia’s wins against Ole Miss and Florida. Harris then played against Mississippi State and Charlotte in November.
Harris appeared in six games for Georgia as a true freshman in 2023. In 2024, he played in 13 games with four starts.
In 27 games at Georgia, Harris accumulated 30 total tackles and three passes defended.
Georgia is also set to lose starting cornerback Daylen Everette to graduation following the 2025 season. As it currently stands, Ellis Robinson and Demello Jones look to be in line to be Georgia’s starters at corner when the 2026 season begins next fall. Freshman Dominick Kelly has also shown flashes of promise in limited action this season.
