Four Georgia head coaches are receiving contract extensions, the university announced on Friday morning.

The headliner is men’s basketball head coach Mike White. He will receive a contract extension through 2031. White’s previous contract was set to expire in 2028.

Last season, White led Georgia to its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2015. Through three seasons in Athens, White has accumulated a record of 56-46 overall and a 20-34 mark in SEC play.

White and his program are looking to build on that success in the 2025-26 season.

Three other Bulldog coaches in the athletic department were also extended on Friday morning.

Equestrian head coach Meghan Boenig received an extension through 2029. The Georgia equestrian team won the NCEA national championship in April.

Track and field head coach Caryl Smith Gilbert and women’s tennis head coach Drake Bernstein also received contract extensions through 2031.

“These coaches were part of an outstanding year for Georgia Athletics and continue to build their programs for future success,” athletic director Josh Brooks said in a statement. “They each represent our department in a first-class manner and serve as exceptional role models for our current and future student-athletes. We look forward to many great days ahead.”
