Linebacker Elijah Littlejohn flips from Penn State to Georgia
Elijah Littlejohn is trading his blue and white for red and black.
The four-star linebacker has flipped his commitment from Penn State to Georgia. The Charlotte native also considered Ohio State and Vanderbilt.
Littlejohn reopened his commitment in October after Penn State fired head coach James Franklin. Later that same week, he visited Georgia for the Bulldogs’ home win over Ole Miss.
“(Defensive coordinator/inside linebackers coach Glenn Schumann) just told me like they really need a linebacker,” Littlejohn told UGASports after that visit. “He likes my frame, like how I can come off the edge, play in space and all that other stuff. And really, he just said he would love to get me on campus.”
Georgia offered Littlejohn in August of 2024. The Bulldogs envision him playing a hybrid inside/outside linebacker role similar to players such as Jalon Walker and Chris Cole.
“Sometimes rush off the edge, sometimes coverage, basically just doing everything for them,” Littlejohn said. “It’s definitely something I can do because I do it in high school right now, but (Cole) is doing it in college.”
Littlejohn is the latest North Carolina native to join the Georgia program. In the 2026 class, the Bulldogs have commitments from Rivals300 offensive lineman Ekene Ogboko and Rivals300 defensive lineman PJ Dean. Current Bulldogs Clinton Barlow, Kyron Jones, and Nnamdi Ogboko also hail from North Carolina.
Littlejohn is the second linebacker in Georgia’s 2026 class, joining Nick Abrams. Khamari Brooks is the only EDGE commit.
