Three-star 2026 tackle Hayden Flavin commits to Northwestern

Three-star 2026 offensive tackle Hayden Flavin from Clarkston (Mich.) announced his commitment to Northwestern on X on Sunday afternoon.
Flavin, who has an expansive frame at 6-foot-7 and 270 pounds, had been committed to Miami (Ohio) since April 6. The Wildcats began recruiting him in late July, offered him on Aug. 14 and hosted him for a visit on Saturday for the game against Oregon.
The was enough to sway him to become a Wildcat because they got his commitment the following day.

Clarkston, Mich. is a very important town to recent Northwestern athletics, having produced center Matt Nicholson as well as lacrosse legend Izzy Scane.
Flavin is ranked as the No. 36 player in Michigan and the No. 139 offensive tackle in the Class of 2026 by Rivals.
Northwestern’s Class of 2026 now contains 17 commits and is ranked No. 64 in the nation per Rivals. Flavin is the second offensive tackle, joining Leighton Burbach, and the fourth offensive lineman in the class overall.
