Each month of the Division I season, we’ll update our position power rankings to track the best players at each position. Our power rankings are determined by offensive and defensive statistics, the eye test on the field, strength of schedule and the player’s value to their team’s success.

Madisyn Kennedy‘s breakout campaign has made Mississippi State one of the best offenses. She is one of seven players in the country with an OPS of at least 1.500. Bri Ellis has been a welcomed addition to the Arkansas lineup and returns to the rankings after being included during the preseason.

Kennedy and Ellis are new to the rankings from the prior month as well as Miami’s Holly Blaska, McNeese’s Corine Poncho, Boise State’s Sydney Groves, Oklahoma’s Cydney Sanders and Maryland’s Diamond Williams.
