2024 Second Base Rankings: April

Each month of the Division I season, we’ll update our position power rankings to track the best players at each position. Our power rankings are determined by offensive and defensive statistics, the eye test on the field, strength of schedule and the player’s value to their team’s success.
Wichita State’s CC Wong moves to second base from third base and leads the second base rankings. Wong, a JuCo project and GCU transfer, is enjoying her best season. She sits at a .495 average while leading the Shockers with 32 RBIs. Kansas Robinson is having quite the season for Northwestern. She’s not too far behind Wong in average with a .488 pace herself and a 1.478 OPS behind 16 extra-base hits. Duke’s Aminah Vega powered her way up the rankings after the Blue Devils swept Virginia Tech, which she homered three times against.
Wong is joined by fellow newcomer Maddie Moore, who has stepped up for Clemson recently.
