2024 Second Base Rankings: May

Each month of the Division I season, we’ll update our position power rankings to track the best players at each position. Our power rankings are determined by offensive and defensive statistics, the eye test on the field, strength of schedule and the player’s value to their team’s success.
Aminah Vega raises to the top spot as the Duke second baseman has 17 doubles, 10 home runs and 48 RBIs. Northwestern’s Kansas Robinson, Virginia Tech’s Cameron Fagan and Cal’s Elon Butler continue their great seasons.
Making their first appearance on the rankings are Colorado State’s Peyton Allen, Marshall’s Brooklyn Ulrich and Dayton’s Maddie Kapimalis.
