2024 Two-Way Player Rankings: April

Each month of the Division I season, we’ll update our position power rankings to track the best players at each position. Our power rankings are determined by offensive and defensive statistics, the eye test on the field, strength of schedule and the player’s value to their team’s success.
Valerie Cagle sits atop the two-way player rankings which shocks no one. Florida freshman Ava Brown has made a quick impression on both sides of the game. Rutgers’ Morgan Smith has been one of the nation’s best hitters and a reliable choice in the circle.
North Florida’s Allison Benning has been a key addition from Oregon for plenty of reasons. Eastern Kentucky’s rise in the ASUN has a lot to do with Maddi Rutan, who is an ace and second on the team in RBIs.
